Easy to get to the Santa Fe Plaza
"Although the Santa Fe Sage Inn isn't right across the street from the Santa Fe Plaza downtown it was easy to get there and to all the sights near there and it was much less expensive than the downtown hotels."

I will always return here when visiting Santa Fe
"We chose this hotel initially because it was walking distance to the Plaza & the price was right. We got SO MUCH more than that! Great service, huge complimentary breakfasts, and free internet on 2 computers 24 hours a day. Cute pool also. The Front Desk staff was helpful in recommending restaurants, helping us find addresses for shopping locations - you name it. I will always return here when visiting Santa Fe. Would not consider anywhere else! Gold star. AAA+++"

Thank you for the enjoyable stay
"Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the enjoyable stay we had. You should be very proud of the kind of staff you have and who make you want to return for another visit. And you can be sure we will be back."

The exercise room was fantastic
"The exercise room was fantastic with fresh towels, a TV, water cooler, and antiseptic wipes for cleaning the equipment. There was cardio equipment and a great set of dumbbells. The breakfast was very nice and even another guest was gracious enough to join me for breakfast so I didn't eat alone."

The Santa Fe Sage Inn had character
"The Santa Fe Sage Inn was different from the other hotels/motels in which we had stayed. It had character."

This hotel is in a perfect location
"This hotel is in a perfect location, next door to the Whole Earth Market. The breakfast they served up till 10 o'clock was good, there was an attendant there to keep everything stocked. The people at the front desk were very helpful and answered any questions we had. This was my second stay here and for the price I wouldn't stay any other place."

We found the hotel to be in a wonderful location
"We found the hotel to be in a wonderful location, and the staff very accommodating and helpful when I needed assistance with the internet available to all guests in the lobby. The shuttle service was very handy and timely. The Front Desk Manager was extremely nice and Norma who helped serve the group three meals a day could not have been more attentive. The breakfast provided was plentiful and our other two meals were catered, but Norma was there to assist us. The conference room next to the dining room was very pleasant and handy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Santa Fe Sage Inn immensely."

A wonderful "home base" from which to explore Santa Fe.
"A wonderful 'home base' from which to explore Santa Fe."
The Sage Inn was a great find. The people at the front desk were competent and helpful both with necessary information about the hotel and tips about the area. The breakfast room was well managed and felt more like a bed and breakfast rather than a standard hotel, largely due to the work and welcoming presence of the hostess, Norma Lopez. Other nice features included the availability of brewed coffee in the breakfast room at all times and a good laundry facility. The location, so close to the center of Santa Fe is a plus and the room was a comfortable and pleasant place to return to after a day of exploring.

Great Location
"Great Location"
We enjoyed the peaceful setting, very clean, well cared for facilities, good breakfast and shuttle service to down town. The Santa Fe Sage Inn is close enough to walk into town and to many good restaurants. The room was not large but very comfortable with nice furnishings, towels, etc. The parking was easy and felt secure. After our first night we decided to extend our stay.

Great value

This hotel provides the service of 5-star hotel with just $75 per night. Excellent value. The only negative is that breakfast room is a bit too small and crowded with guests. But this also shows the popularity of the hotel in a way. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great Value for Money
"Great Value for Money"
We spent two nights at the Santa Fe Sage Inn in September. Staff were friendly, even by Texas standards, and extremely helpful and solicitous to ensure our stay was nothing but pleasant. They succeeded. Room was clean and attractive. Staff steered us to the farmer's market next door in the Railyard, as well as to neighbor Whole Foods for picnic goodies.
They also discussed with us several possibilities for good hiking in the area, and they knew their stuff on this subject. Super location, close enough to walk to the Plaza in 15 minutes max, yet far enough out on Cerrillos Road to offer excellent room rates. Breakfast was fine and filling. We are recommending the Sage Inn to all our friends, and we will certainly plan a return trip to Santa Fe soon and will stay at the Sage Inn again.

Great Value!
"Great Value!"
This modest inn has it all! Clean, comfortable, attractive rooms at a reasonable rate in a terrific location with a professional, personable staff that genuinely care about their guests. The historic Railyard with its park, shops, galleries, restaurants and farmer's market is directly across the street. The famous Plaza is a 15 minute walk of discoveries away. The entire staff at the Santa Fe Sage Inn shines but we have to give a special nod to GM Cheryl Johnson who took the time to share her knowledge about Santa Fe in response to our many questions and to Norma who not only expertly manages the excellent daily complimentary breakfast but who asked our name the first day and warmly addressed us by name every morning!

Let me count the ways I love the Santa Fe Sage Inn
"Let me count the ways I love the Santa Fe Sage Inn."
A friend and I stayed here while driving cross country in Nov 2009. I was skeptical when we first pulled up, but that went away as soon as we were being checked in. This place is awesome and it doesn't cost and arm & leg. The rooms are basic and not huge, but charmingly decorated and clean, with free internet. They offer a great free breakfast, and a free shuttle that will take you where you want to go. They also have computers in the lobby for guests to use. The staff is outstanding, friendly, and will go the extra mile to help you and answer any questions you have.

Low rates, good location
Low rates, good location, great rooms, and wonderful staff... pet friendly too!"
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Santa Fe Sage Inn with our two dogs. There is actually a small, secluded park next to the hotel where we could take the dogs.
We got a great discount because we stayed for 3 nights. The room was very clean and pretty. Not far from the historic plaza at all. I wouldn't consider it walking distance, but you could definitely walk to the plaza if you wanted to.
The staff was so great. Since my boyfriend and I are college students, most places wouldn't try very hard to please us. However, the Santa Fe Sage Inn treated us with upmost respect and they were always so kind. Beautiful lobby too. I would recommend this place to anybody visiting Santa Fe. Low rates, good location, great rooms, and wonderful staff! We are staying here the next time we visit!

A thank you note on behalf of the Santa Fe Road Runners Club
We had several comments by the runners staying at the Santa Fe Sage Inn about the prompt service when the air conditioning units went on the blink. The room manager was right on top of things. In addition, special thanks to the breakfast area staff--Norma was wonderful as was the young man whose name I unfortunately I can't recall.
This was the largest group we've had, but the front desk attendants made us all feel welcomed and greeted us with friendly smiles and knew our names (at least mine!)
We even made the front page of the Santa Fe Journal edition of the Albuquerque Journal. Next time, I will mention that we stayed at the Santa Fe Sage Inn when they interview me! I hope that we will be in contact for future editions of our camp.

"Most properties in Santa Fe are either very expensive downtown hotels or standard motor inns that do not reflect the Southwestern charm of the city, since they are located on a busy commercial "strip." The Santa Fe Sage Inn by far offers tour operators Santa Fe's best combination of affordable rates, attractive, well-maintained accommodations, convenient location within walking distance of downtown attractions, and warm, personal service."

Hold your conference at the Santa Fe Sage Inn
I have held many events at the Santa Fe Sage Inn over the past few years. The service is amazing: friendly, efficient and responsive. The prices for guest rooms and the conference room are very good, especially given the expensive Santa Fe market. The hotel is close enough to downtown so people can even walk there if they want. I have had people from all over the world come and stay, and attend my conferences at the Santa Fe Sage Inn and never once had a negative comment. That's never been true in the past, when I have held my events at other hotels. Hold your conference at the Santa Fe Sage Inn. You won't be disappointed and I suspect you and your participants will be delighted.

Kells Family Reunion
We're writing to let you know what a wonderful experience our family had at your hotel recently. Our reunion for 20 people was a year in the making, and this group of distant cousins has been gathering for 25 years. They all reported this was the nicest event yet. We selected your property very early on in the process because of your close proximity to the heart of Santa Fe, your very competitive group rates, and your excellent Sunrise room for our private dinners. The new Railyard Park is another convenient plus right across the street.
As important as these factors were, the overriding reason our weekend was so successful was the outstanding support we received from your staff, especially your Director of Sales Marissa Oakeley. She worked tirelessly with us from the start to the very end, handling long range planning for catering and billing, advising us on details as well as the big picture. We cannot imagine hosting this event without Marissa's enthusiastic guidance, because of our confidence in her and your entire staff we are planning a similar event for the other half of the family next year, and of course it will be at Santa Fe Sage Inn!

Santa Fe Clay
Santa Fe Clay has worked with the Santa Fe Sage Inn for over five years. Our Summer Workshop participants have been extremely happy with the convenience, upgraded amenities, and affordability of rooms at the Sage Inn. These students and guest artists come to Santa Fe for week-long workshops during the summer months, and winter and spring weekends, and they have been extremely pleased that we have been able to offer this partnership with the Sage Inn for their accommodations. We publish contact information on our website and in our brochure, and students make their own arrangements with the Inn, leaving Santa Fe Clay to do what we do best. Santa Fe Clay is the only full ceramic art center in the southwest, dedicated to creating a supportive learning and working environment for ceramic artists of all levels and abilities.
