Santa Fe Century Bike Race

Created in 1985, the Santa Fe Century is an annual event that challenges riders to a 100-mile bike race on the Turquoise Trail in Santa Fe. Many of the incredible riders call the Santa Fe Sage Inn home during the event weekend.

Every May, riders feel a hundred miles of history pass under their wheels as they cycle down the ancient Turquoise Trail through the old mining towns of Madrid and Golden, across the mineral rich Ortiz and San Pedro Mountains, across the Estancia Valley through the villages of Cedar Grove and Stanley, on to the very old village of Galisteo and back to Santa Fe.

In addition to the 100 mile race, there are 25, 50, and 75 mile "out & back" routes and an easy 50 mile ATB loop along 6 miles of country dirt road. Riders start and finish in at the Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center located on the corner of St. Michael's Drive and Hospital Drive.

Guests of the Santa Fe Sage Inn may visit the Century website at www.santafecentury.com for complete detailed route maps and participant registration information.
